Insights - Welcome

In 2020, I reached my first decade of playing the harp and studying music. Just as with any other profession and passion, the learning process continues every day and is informed through performance and pedagogy. 2021 presents a new year for opportunities to widen the scope that classical musicians present and engage with. I see so many opportunities to open discussion on what it means to be studying the harp and music. We have so many assets and tools now, more than ever, to use our art forms and personal expression to contribute to more than just the concert stage. Using music as the platform, I hope to share my thoughts and insights on the literature for the harp, approaches to contemporary music (not limited to classical), and the passions that inspire me to make the world a more loving and nurturing place.
